They are approx. 12" tall and feature lots of detail, from their artists shading to the deep soulful eyes drawn with artists pencils, each doll has a personality of it's own. Sanded, stained, and antiqued to replicate age, these little Sunflower Gals have the vintage look of a much loved doll with a little bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure! I used various colors of hand dyed spun sheeps wool for their little "tuft" hair which has been needle felted. They each have cute little dresses with matching pantaloons. Each doll has been finished a little differently. If you can find room in your heart and a place in your home, these sweet little "Bloomers" would love to be part of your family! This is a simply wonderful doll with tons of detail. He has primitive "penny rug" stitched eyes and a pinch stitched face! On the top of his head are stick antennea with rusty bells attached to the tips. He also has a rusty bell necklace. The beautiful quilted type dimensional wings are gorgeous. His overalls are dark green featuring black willow trees with two vintage buttons. His little bee hive is approx 8" tall and features two prim bees (one attached to the top of the hive with twirly wire and one at the bottom of the hive. A prim green heart has been fixed to the front! Cradled in his arm is is very own prim tulip. I have added a matching heart to the front of the tulip and another prim bee on the stem. A green rag tie serves as the leaves with twirly wire to complete it. The sweet guy would love to be part of your family...he never uses his stinger!!!!!! Signed and dated, price includes shipping. Her name is "Lucky". She is not a four leaf clover, but she is lucky none the less!!!! Her face has been stitched with DMC floss, and she has two black button eyes and rosy blushed cheeks. She has on a dark navy homespun dress that features prim sunflowers and crows, with a big old matching hair bow. Dark green homespun pantaloons are underneath. She is weighted, so she sits nicely!
